I guess I never did say where we're going huh?

Well we're heading out to Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia for 3 weeks. Most of the time we're there we will be at family reunions or other family events. All of Mike's family is from out there, so I have a LOT of people to meet (mostly because none of them came to our wedding... not even grandparents) I HAVE met 3 of Mike's Aunt's, 2 of his uncles and one grandma (but not at our wedding). Only one of his aunts came to the wedding. Funny thing is that even with pretty much none of his family there we still had 400 people (maybe it's a good thing none of them could come!)

So I'm feeling a little better about this trip today though. I had to make a list of things I need to get done before we go (which I then lost and then re-wrote!). I'm not sure even 1/2 of them will actually get done, but I'll prioritize them and get the more important ones done. I still can't believe this trip is almost here now... we've been looking forward to it for 2 years. Along with this trip, we have a mini-trip this weekend. My grandparent's 50th anniversary is at the end of the month, so there is a big family and friends thing for them... I love seeing my family! If I had any choice in the matter I would love to live a lot closer to my family. If only there was any kind of work in that area that Mike was interested in.

I'll have to remember to post some pictures on here (if I can figure it out) after we get back. Mike has told me to go picture crazy, because we probably won't get back there for a LONG time. The only reason we're going this time is because his parents bought our plane tickets (Thanks!!!). So I think this will probably be my last post until after we get back... I have a lot of things I SHOULD be doing (and no, I don't think I put sitting on my computer chatting on that list, although I do enjoy it!). My mom is here for a couple days too, so hopefully I can manage to get most everything I need to done (like packing!). So take care everyone! I'll be back in about 3 1/2 weeks!

It sounds like fun. Dont worry about how the kids act, they will be in manic mood anyways. Just practice the "manners" right before you get there.
Have fun!

I know how it can be meeting most of the family from out east all at once. Intimidating at best. I just met all of Nathan's family (minus one grandma and two uncles who I had met previously) in Ontario a couple weeks ago. Turned out I love them! But that's not to say I wasn't exhausted when it was all done! Hope you have a great time! Glad your mom could be out for a few days! Moms can be life savers!
