Oh What a Happy Valentine's Day

Ok, well this is probably going to be short. I'm at my parents place until next Wednesday, just me, Matthew and Andy. Mike is working away this week so I'm doing some visiting.

This has probably been one of my better Valentine's days... at least it wasn't completely forgotten this year. I love you Mike! Thanks for the roses!!! But I really wish that Valentine's Day could be that way for everyone. Some guys can be such jerks sometimes, and such good liars too. Ever notice that when a guy does something wrong (I mean REALLY wrong!) he seems all apologetic and remorseful until you don't forgive him at the drop of a hat, and then all of a sudden it's YOUR fault that what he did happened? I will never understand that about most guys. How on earth they get us to feel guilty for something that had NOTHING to do with US?!!! Either that or they want to go back to how things were before they messed up... not realizing that trust takes time to earn once... and after it's been broken it takes a LONG time to get back. Guys have the worst timing too! Valentine's Day!!! Of course bad things happen when you're supposed to be the happiest together. Ugh... makes me wonder why we bother in the first place sometimes.

Anyway, on an end note: Mike, thank you for being a good husband and father to me and the kids. I know we've had our issues and sometimes want to kill eachother... but thanks for sticking with me. I love you. (I don't even know if you read this or not, lol).

Another end note: Guys: don't lie to your gf, fiancee, wife... trust me, be honest, no matter what, it'll turn out better than if you hadn't. Girls: trust your bf, fiance, husband... but don't ever be naive and think they're not capable of hurting you, because they are.

Have a Happy Valentine's Day!!
K

I'm glad you had such a good VDay. I just wanted to let you know I check your blog everyday. I know how much it sucks when you don't get any comments and think no one is reading.

I hope you're having a good time.
